My Everyday Makeup Routine

Hey guys! For today’s post I thought it would be fun to share with you guys my everyday makeup routine.

This is actually the look that I did the other day when I went apple and pumpkin picking with Diego and our friends/family. It’s simple as heck but always still manages to make me feel pretty and “done-up.”

I’m going to be sharing with you guys the products I used and what I used to apply each of them. I also did my best to take certain pictures to show you guys the individual products on my face before taking pictures of the overall final product. Does that make sense? You’ll understand better as I actually move along lol.

Also, something to quickly mention before I start is that I’m obviously in no way, shape or form a makeup artist, nor am I trying to be. But, these are products that I’ve really been loving lately and are my typical go-to products whenever I want to do a nice, little calm beat and I just felt like sharing that with you guys, so that’s what I’m doing today ūüôā .

Lastly, I took all of these photos with my iPhone XS in my naturally lit room, so if the colors or lighting or any of that look off, that’s why!

* * * * * *

 So the first thing I do before anything is make sure that my face is nice and clean then put my moisturizer on. For my moisturizer, I more often than not reach for my Dermasil Dry Skin Treatment Original Lotion.

Honestly, there’s no particular reason why I reach for this one as opposed to any other one, other than the fact that I just generally like this one a lot.¬† And even when I don’t wear makeup, this tends to be my everyday moisturizer in the mornings and at night.

* * * * * *

The next thing I do after moisturizing my face, is put on primer. Now the primer that I’ve been using recently is fairly new to me still, but overall I’ve found that I like it A LOT and has been my go-to lately. The primer I’m talking about (which also doubles over as my setting spray after everything) is the Too Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Replenishing Primer and Setting Spray.

At the moment I only have the ‘trial size’, but once this one is finished, I’ll probably end up getting the full-sized one. I originally got this as a trial size just to be able to test it out and now that I have for a while, I’ve realized that I really like it, which isn’t much of a surprise since I have the original Hangover Replenishing Face Primer and loved that one for a while too.

* * * * * *

This next step 2 steps kind of just always depends on how I’m feeling that day, because I’ll either do one or the other first, but regardless I do end up doing both and it always ends up working out. HOWEVER, for this look in particular and the day I did it, after priming my face, I went in with my foundation. The foundation I’ve really been reaching for lately is my Tarte Shape Tape Hydrating Foundation, in the shade Medium Neutral.

Just foundation on my face, at the moment.

I bought this foundation a couple of months ago when it first came out pretty much because of the concealer. I figure that I loved the concealer so much, so why not try the foundation too? And sure enough, I loved this as well, and ever since I’ve been using it like crazy. It has very quickly become a favorite of mine. To apply my foundation, I use the E.L.F. Cosmetics Ultimate Blending Brush.

* * * * * *

After my foundation is on I went in to do my brows. The only brow product I really ever tend to use is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in the shade Ebony.

Only foundation and brows on. I do usually tend to go in with concealer to clean and sculpt them out a little more, but I was sort of in a rush and didn’t have a chance to do that this day.

I have yet to find another brow product that does it for me the way that this one does. And don’t get me wrong, I’m open to trying anything new, ESPECIALLY if I’m going to end up loving it, it’s just that at the moment, I haven’t found anything that I’ve liked more than the Brow Wiz.

As for brow gel, I always go in with the ABH Clear Brow Gel, because it’s my favorite at the moment, and similar to the Brow Wiz, I have yet to find one that I love just as much.

* * * * * *

After I finish my foundation and brows, I go in with my concealer. Now, even for my everyday makeup looks, I don’t typically tend to use one specific concealer. Every time I do it, I’ll use a different one and there have been quite a few that I’ve REALLY been liking lately, but for this look in particular, I went in with the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in the shade Medium-Light Warm.

Like I said, there’s been quite a few different concealers that I’ve been really liking lately, but this one in particular tends to stand out THAT much more for some reason. It does a pretty good job at covering my dark circles, really doesn’t crease all that much (of course I have to set it a bit, but nonetheless), and blends pretty seamlessly with me. To blend out my concealer I actually use the Red Beauty Blender,¬†which I won’t show because it was kind of dirty….lol.

* * * * * *

I don’t typically set my entire face with powder, because I don’t usually need to. I don’t find that I get creasing on my forehead or smile lines or even around my nose (thankfully, not trying to brag about that). I find that although I have combination skin, it tends to be more on the oily side then on the dry side these days.

However, to set my under eyes a little bit, I went in with a BRAND NEW powder that I recently bought and just from using it that one time, I think it’s already going to end up becoming a go-to. The powder I’m talking about is the Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder.

Let’s keep in mind that it was only the first time that I had used it, BUT it did SUCH a good job at setting my under eyes and not having them crease up on me. I typically tend to struggle at finding a good under eye powder that helps me avoid creasing, so the fact that this actually was great at that, made me REALLY excited.

This day I had finished my makeup at about noon, and by the time I got home from everything I was doing and checked out how my eyes were doing, it was about 8pm and only then did I start to see minor creasing. That’s 8 hours..not too shabby if you ask me.

* * * * * *

After setting my under eyes, I go in with my bronzer. Now similar to concealer, I’ve actually been really liking and going between using about 2-3 different ones lately, but for this look in particular I went in using my Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in the shade Bronzer.¬†

Foundation, Brows, Concealer, Powder and Bronzer.

This is probably my FAVORITE drugstore bronzer of all time. I have yet to find one that tops this (which if you happen to have one you like and/or think is better, please free to share with me ūüôā ). It blends really easy, always looks pretty on the skin and smells AMAZING. I’m sure you guys have heard a zillion times that it’s like the ultimate smell of a tropical dream lol. SO good, and cheap at that too, so what could be better? I always use my Too Faced Mr. Right- The Perfect Powder Brush to blend this and any bronzer out really.

* * * * * *

*This is about the time when the pictures started going downhill and I stopped, because I was really rushing at this point lol.*

After my bronzer, I always apply my blush. I attempt to try new blushes every so often, but for the most part I almost always stick to this one in particular which is the Nars blush in Orgasm.

I have literally always loved this blush since the very first time I saw and used it more or less a year ago. I just think it’s the prettiest, perfect pinky blush for my skin tone and gives me a nice little flush to the cheeks. It’s definitely my favorite, although I have a few others that I don’t mind switching it up for every so often, I do almost always grab for this one. I always apply my blush with the Real Techniques Blush Brush.

* * * * * *

After my blush, I always curl my lashes and go in with my mascara. My eyelash curler is nothing special which is why I didn’t feel the need to take a picture of it and show it to you guys. Although, if I remember correctly, it’s from Revlon.

However, the mascara that I’ve been absolutely OBSESSED with recently is this Lancome Monsieur Big mascara. This mascara is probably the best mascara of all time (I’m aware at how bold of a statement that is, but it’s the truth!!). I naturally already have really long lashes, but this intensifies that SO much more in the best way possible, while also giving me really great volume. I literally cannot say enough good things about this product other than that it’s definitely a favorite.

* * * * * *

While I’m waiting for my mascara to dry is always when I take the opportunity to go in with whatever highlight it is I want to wear that day. For this look, I wanted something that would be subtle, but you would obviously still notice that it was there, so I went in with the Wet-n-Wild To Reflect Shimmer Palette in Boozy Brunch.¬†

Guys this highlight is SO pretty. It really gives such a beautifully subtle glow to the face. And personally, whenever I put it on, I can pretty much build it up as much as I want and it still doesn’t ever look too chunky on my skin or like it’s just sitting there you know? Definitely a great quality drugstore highlight. To apply my highlight I believe I used the Sigma F03 High Cheekbone Highlighting brush.

* * * * * *

And finally for my lip product. For this look originally I was really excited to try a new liquid lipstick that I had recently purchased, which was the Beauty Bakerie Matte Lip Whip in the shade¬†Gingersnap…..HOWEVER…..although I didn’t take a picture of it on my lips, after I put it on (literally like a minute or two later), it looked really weird and like patchy.

It was the weirdest thing and I have never really had that happen to me before with a lipstick. But it looked all broken up and transferred A LOT when I would purse my lips together like I would typically do after applying. I don’t know, all I had underneath was my usual lip balm that I literally ALWAYS wear under my lipsticks, so I doubt it was that. But it kind of (unfortunately) turned me off to it altogether. I have another shade from them that I’m going to test out before coming to a final conclusion about it, but yeah, so far I was really disappointed and it was a pretty bad first impression.

But, after I immediately removed THAT from my lips, I decided to go in with one of my FAVORITE liquid lipstick shades to wear around this time of year which is the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Lolita.

* * * * * *

Well that’s it guys, that’s my everyday makeup look. See the final product below. Thanks so much for reading and I hope you guys enjoyed it.

First Time Buying Any Beauty Related Products In About 6 Months…WHAT DID I BUY?!

If you haven’t already guessed from the title of this post, today I’m going to be doing a makeup haul! I have been SO good lately and haven’t bought any type of makeup, skincare, etc. because I’ve been really focused on wanting to pay my bills and save for things that I’ve got planned for myself in the future. So recently, I decided to splurge a bit.

Yes, I went a little crazy…but I haven’t bought a damn thing in about 6-7 months, what do you want from me?! Don’t judge me…

The stuff I bought is MAINLY from Sephora, but there are a few products that aren’t from there. Also, although I did buy a couple of actual makeup products, I think the majority of the stuff I bought this time around are actually skincare related products.

* * * * * * * *

When I’m on the Sephora app, I don’t typically tend to check out the ‘Just Arrived’ section, I almost always just go straight to the brands that I know and love. I also don’t tend to read a lot of reviews from people on the app about their experiences with particular products. I’ll watch YouTubers that I love do hauls and first impressions on products, but that’s about it.

This time around, however, it was entirely different. About half of the products I bought were from the ‘Just Arrived’ section, and I got a lot of them not only because they intrigued me obviously, but because of the amazing reviews they got from others on the app. The other half of the stuff I bought were either things that I had been wanting to try for like EVER but never got around to it, or things that I saw YouTubers use and thought I may like.

So, without further adieu, here is my first haul (in no particular order)!:

  1. IMG_9111

What is it: This is the Pearly Girl Vegan Teeth Whitening Pen by Tarte.

What it does: It says that it’s a bleach-free, vegan teeth whitening pen that’s supposed to help reveal visibly whiter teeth while protecting tooth enamel. It’s supposed to provide an instant brightening boost.

Why I bought it: I think this is one of the things that I saw on the ‘Just Arrived’ section a few weeks ago, I don’t completely remember though. BUT, based on the reviews, a LOT of people have said that they tried it and it actually works. Now, not to say or make it seem in any way like I’m dirty or don’t care about my hygiene, but I personally, have never focused too much on whether or not my teeth look super white. I could never really get into the craze of the 3D white strips, etc. (no shade to those of you that are into that). This however, intrigued me for some reason, I don’t know, maybe it’s because it’s through the brand Tarte which is one of my favorite makeup brands, but something really caught my eye about this and I can’t wait to actually try it out.

How much it is: It’s $22, and you get 0.135 oz of product in it.

What it is: This is the Glow Recipe Watermelon Set.

What it does: It’s a¬†hydrating duo that nourishes, brightens, and drenches skin in juicy, antioxidant-rich moisture day and night. The set contains a¬†Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer and a¬†Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask.

*I totally bought this after I bought the other full-sized Watermelon Pink Juice Moisturizer (which you’ll see a little later below). What had happened was….I bought the moisturizer and then I became like crazy buying skin care products and so I was going through the skincare section, came across this, and decided to just buy it. So now I have 2 of the moisturizers ūüôā ….. ENOUGH OF YOUR JUDGING, KEEP READING!!*

Why I got it: Ultimately, the the word ‘hydrating’ is what drew me in the most with these products. Although I do have combination skin, more often than not, my skin will be dry. So I’m down for anything that hydrates my skin, but doesn’t make me look like a greaseball afterwards, so we’ll see how I end up liking these!

How much it is: The set is $45, and I think it’s definitely worth it. You’re getting nearly a full-sized moisturizer and the mask which will last you probably 3-4 uses, if not more, depending how often you use it and how much of it you use when you do.

3. IMG_9125

What it is: This is the Tatcha Skincare For Makeup Lovers РInstant Dewy Glow Set; it comes with a Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, a Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil, and a Violet-C Radiance Mask.

What it does: It says that it’s a¬†set of essentials to leave skin softer, smoother, and glowing. The Dewy skin mist is¬†packed with 20 percent botanical oils and humectants which gives skin a boost of hydration and a dewy glow. The Cleansing Oil¬†is a lightweight, antioxidant-rich makeup remover and cleanser. Made of camellia and rice bran oils, it melts away impurities, and even waterproof eye makeup, leaving behind silky skin with no oily residue. And finally, the Radiance Mask is supposed to give an instant and lasting glow. The creamy, anti-aging mask is packed with brightening Japanese beautyberry, two types of vitamin C, and smoothing AHAs from seven fruits.

Why I got it: After the first like 2 skincare products I bought, I just decided to look through their entire skincare section on the app and I came across this bundle. Now, I’ve never used any Tatcha products before, but I’ve definitely heard about their dewy skin mist and how everybody RAVES about it. Then I started going through the reviews of the overall bundle and saw the great reviews on the other products as well, and I just needed to try it out. It really is a great little bundle if you think about it, so I definitely think it’s worth it, plus if I run out and end up LOVING the products, I could always just go and buy the full-sized ones.

How much it is: It’s $56 (but of a $78 value).

4. IMG_9138

What it is: This is the Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara

Why I got it: This is one of those products that I got because I saw KathleenLights RAVING about it in her videos. She’s one of my favorite YouTubers and she’s constantly using it to give her lashes this beautiful volume. I’ve already tried it about 2 times, and so far I really like it the way it leaves my lashes. So, so far, this is a goodie!

How much it is: The full-size one I got is $25, but they have a mini that you can try too for $12.

What it is: This is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel.

What it does: It’s a clear gel for all hair colors that sets, defined, and brows in place all day. It says that the soothing chamomile formula also conditions hair and offers a lustrous, natural look.

Why I got it: This is one of those products that I had been wanting to try for like EVER, but for one reason or another, just never got around to it. This is technically the first Brow gel I’ve ever tried, and I’m sure there are probably others out there that are just as good, if not BETTER, but I’ve used it like twice already and so far, no real complaints to be honest. It does what it has to do, and I’m happy with it.

How much it is: This goes for $22 in Sephora and has 0.28 Oz ig product in it.

6. img_9141.jpg

What it is: This is the Too Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Replenishing Primer & Setting Spray.

What it does: It says that it’s a weightless, three-in-one coconut water-infused mist that primes, sets, and refreshes makeup while it helps keep skin hydrated.

Why I got it: I got this because I heard a ton of people raving about it on YouTube and on the reviews on the app/website. I also got it because I absolutely love the regular  Hangover Replenishing Face Primer, so I figure I try this one as well and see if I like it just as much.

How much it is: I got the smaller, travel size one which goes for $15 and has 1 oz of product in it. But the full-sized one is $32 and has 4 oz of product in it.

7. IMG_9142

What it is: This is the First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm

What it does: It’s an overnight eye treatment that targets visible signs of aging for both the under-eye area and upper eyelid. It’s supposed to help with fine lines and wrinkles, dullness and uneven texture, and loss of firmness.

Why I got it: This is by no means a new product….I think, because most of the reviews were from like 2015-2016 lol, but I pretty much just stumbled upon this product while I was scrolling through the skincare section. Most of the reviews were pretty good, and I’m always down to try a new eye cream that’s going to help with these dark circles I have, ‘cuz mama got it bad…So I’m really looking forward to trying this and (hopefully) seeing a difference.

How much it is: This is super tiny, and I’m pretty sure there’s only one size of it. But it’s $38, and comes with 0.5 oz of product.

8. IMG_9144

What it is: This is the Dr. Brandt Skincare PoreDermabrasion Pore Perfecting Exfoliator.

What it does: It’s a unique professional-grade physical and chemical exfoliator and pore perfector in one. It’s supposed to help with your pores, oiliness, dullness and uneven texture.

Why I bought it: I got this because, the first time I got it, it was actually in a Boxycharm and I absolutely loved it. I used about half of it, and then I got Diego into it, and he ended up stealing it from me -_- lol. So, I decided to buy one for myself. The cooling sensation feels amazing on my skin, it made my pores disappear, and my face always feels SO clean and refreshed afterwards, not to mention smooth. There may obviously be just as good (if not better) exfoliators out there (and also probably cheaper), but at the moment, this is my absolute favorite.

How much it is: This is $58 for 2 oz of product.

What it is: This is the Amika Brooklyn Bombshell Blowout Volume Spray.

What it does: This is supposed to be a lightweight, volumizing blowout spray with heat protection for massive, long-lasting volume, body, and texture. It’s also supposed to return moisture to hair.

Why I bought it: This was one of the products that was on the ‘Just Arrived’ page. Now, I don’t typically like to use hair products in my hair, just because while I was growing up, my mom would use a lot of moose, gel, hair spray, etc. on me, and it just kind of turned me off to all of that stuff when I got older. BUT, if you know me, you know that my hair has ALWAYS lacked volume. Like it’s dead straight and it’s always so hard to trying doing stuff to it, and it has ALWAYS been like that. It’s something that’s always bothered me, but it just got to a point where I kind of accepted it and just moved on. So when I saw this, I was really interested in it and figure why not try it?

*PSA/MINOR FIRST IMPRESSION: I got really excited about wanting to try this out, and literally the only instructions it says on the bottle is to spray it on damp hair from root to tip then blow-dry your hair with it on. So that’s what I did, and I don’t know if I applied WAY too much, but it made my hair SUPER hard (like gel or moose) which I did NOT like. It also, made my hair super poofy, which I guess that would be the volume? But it looked really weird, and I didn’t really like it. I’m going to continue trying it out and maybe not spray all that much this time to see if I get better results that I actually like. I’m thinking maybe less is more with this product? And if the poofiness is always going to be my results with this, then it’s probably something I’ll just have to get used? I don’t know, but we’ll see.*

How much it is: This is $25, and comes with 6.7 oz of product.

What it is: This is the Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette from the Coconut Fantasy Collection.

Why I bought it: WHY WOULDN’T I BUY IT?! LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS!!!!!! No seriously, the packaging is BEAUTIFUL, and the shade range is literally right up my alley. I’ve never bought anything from this brand before because of how pricey they can be, BUT I’ve literally been eyeing this specific collection for MONTHS, since way before it even came out. And I caved, and bought it. I’m so excited to start using this it’s insane, but I almost don’t even want to touch it from how perfect it looks!! ūüė¶

*P.S.: I’m SO sad that I couldn’t get my hands on the Coconut Perfecting Tan-tastic Omega bronzer too ūüė• !*¬†

How much it is: This palette is $49.

What it is: This is from the Kylie Cosmetics collab that Kylie did with her mother Kris Jenner. It’s the Momager Mini Lip Kollection.

Why I got it: To be honest, not a lot of the products from her collections normally catch my eye anymore ASIDE from her lip products. So when I saw these mini lippies, I KNEW I had to have them! It comes with 8 different shades, and they are all absolutely gorgeous. Reds, nudes, mauves, purples, they’re all AMAZING.

How much it was: $42. I definitely think the price is high for 8 minis, but what do I know about how to run a business like that? And although the prices do tend to be a little crazy, she’s obviously doing something right, so who am I to judge?

What it is: This is the only ‘regular’ lipstick that was apart of the Kylie Cosmetics x Kris Jenner collection. The shade is called Give Me a Kiss, and it’s a creme lipstick.

Why I got it: I got this because I love nude shades, I’m a nude type of gal if you haven’t been able to tell. And this color is SO pretty. PLUS, the packaging is badass!! You can’t really tell in the picture because it was hard to capture it, but on the cap, there are middle fingers going all around it in silver, which I think is so funny and dope and made me want it even MORE lol.

How much it is: This is $17.

13. IMG_9165

What it is: This is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Highlighter.

Why I got it: I’m SOOOO late to the party, but this was all the rage when it first came out in February. I had wanted it for a while from how beautiful it looked, but was on the fence because I saw a ton of mixed reviews on it. A few of my friends had also told me that if I had the Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop highlighter (which I do), it might be a waste because they’re EXTREMELY similar. But I was just kind of like screw it, a gal can never have too many beautiful highlighters, am I right? lol

How much it is: $28 (although I think it’s sold out now ūüė¶ ).

14. IMG_9169

What it is: This is the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask.

What it’s supposed to do: It’s a¬†one-of-a-kind hydrating cream face mask featuring proven, skin-loving ingredients that deliver rich hydration and a radiant complexion in just one application. It’s supposed to be great for relatively ALL skin types, and help with dryness, dullness and uneven texture. It’s supposed to have¬†a rich combination of ceramides, vitamins, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory ingredients that help to combat puffy, inflamed, over-worked skin. It’s also free of¬†harmful ingredients such as artificial fragrance or color, harsh surfactants, petrolatum, GMOs, triclosan, hydrogen peroxide, EDTA‚Äôs, BHT or BHA, formaldehyde, or propylene glycol.

Why I got it: This is actually another one of the products I saw on the ‘Just Arrived’ section of Sephora. I’ve been OBSESSED with masks and skincare products in general lately, so when I saw this and read all the great reviews on it, I was pretty much sold.

How much it is:¬†It’s $48 and comes with 2.25 oz of product.

15. IMG_9171

What is it: The Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation

My shade: I got the shade Sahel (Medium 2.5), I haven’t gotten a chance to try it yet, so I’m not sure if it’s my right shade, and in the bottle it looks a little dark for my actual complexion, but I guess we’ll see when I actually try it! lol.

What it’s supposed to do: It’s a¬†foundation with medium build-able coverage, that’s supposed to last up to 16 hours. It’s lightweight, natural, fade-resistant wear, featuring full-powered radiance to smooth the look of skin.

Why I bought it: This isn’t at all a new makeup product at Sephora, but it’s a foundation that I’ve always kind of had my eye on, but was always skeptical about buying it for some reason. I’ve heard a lot of good reviews on it, so it’s not that I ever thought it was bad. I just think it’s because I’m the type of person that will really only stick to using 1 or 2 different foundations, especially if I love them, but I’m trying to get better at expanding my taste for foundation, and experimenting with them more, so I got one that I’ve had my eye on for some time now.

How much it is:¬†It’s $49 and comes with 1 fluid oz of product.

16. IMG_9174

What is it: This is the Becca First Light Priming Filter.

What it’s supposed to do: On the app it says that it’s a¬†hydrating, color-neutralizing primer that creates the look of healthy, even skin tone with a natural finish.

Why I got it: I got this because I saw a ton of great reviews on it on the app and from some of my favorite YouTubers. I also got it because I tend to have combination skin, but some days more than others, it’ll be dry, so who wouldn’t love a hydrating primer like this?

How much it is:¬†It’s $38 for 1 fluid oz.

17. IMG_9178

What it is: This is the Glow Recipe Watermelon Pink Juice Moisturizer

What it does: It’s supposed to be a¬†lightweight moisturizer, ideal for oily to combination skin, that’s formulated with vitamin-rich watermelon extract, hydrating hyaluronic acid, and soothing botanicals to boost radiance and glow. It’s supposed to help with dryness, dullness, uneven texture, and uneven skin tone.

Why I got it: Like I’ve mentioned several times already, I’ve become obsessed with skincare, and I’ve been wanting to up my skincare routine so I saw this on the app, read a ton of great reviews on it, and figure why not try it? It smells AMAZING. The watermelon scent (to me) is strong in the sense that obviously you smell it right away, but it’s not super overpowering like lets say the peaches and cream collection by too-faced that a lot of people would complain about the scent. It’s definitely there, but within a few seconds of having it on my skin, you hardly smell it anymore. AND it left my skin super smooth, what more can I ask for?

How much it is: It’s $39 and comes with 2 oz of product.

18. IMG_9180

What it is: This is the Make Up Forever 276 Eyelash Comb & Brush.

What it does: It’s a¬†metal comb and brush that’s supposed to be good for separating lashes and removing excess mascara.

Why I got it: I remember watching a video by KathleenLights a few months ago, which I think was actually a haul, and she spoke about something like this. I actually think hers was from the brand Morphe, but I saw this on the Sephora app, remembered her video, and LOVED the concept of it so I got it. It’s especially good for those mascaras that you love, but are starting to get a little dried out and clumpy, so it’s the PERFECT thing to use to comb out those annoying little clumps of mascara that get stuck to your lashes.

How much it is: $28.

19. IMG_9193

And finally the last thing I got….

What it is: This is the GlamGlow GRAVITYMUD Firming Treatment.

What it does: It’s a mud-based, peel-off face mask designed to tighten the appearance of skin. Its supposed to help with loss of firmness and elasticity.

Why I got it: I had gotten a sample I believe from a Boxycharm or something like that a while ago, and recently finally got around to trying it, and there was just something about it that I LOVED. So when I decided to place this Sephora order, I was like what the heck?! May as well go ahead and buy the full-size. Personally, I thought it was really good. I don’t REALLY think I have any loose skin on my face, so I didn’t notice much tightening other than when the mask was actually on my face, but it DID leave my face feeling super refreshed and smooth afterwards. So I think it was a win/win.

How much it is: It’s $59, and comes with 1.7 oz of product.

* * * * * * * *

*Most of the descriptions for the “what it does” part was taken from the Sephora website.*

Let me know if you guys would want to see a first impressions and/or general review of any (or all) of these products! Also let me know if you guys have any recommendations of products, whether makeup or skincare, that you think I should try. ūüôā

The Power Of Makeup

Originally this post was only going to be about my personal preferences when it comes to makeup, but then when I started thinking about what I was going to say about this, I started thinking about all these things I wanted to be able to include like my favorite makeup brands, products, and what I generally use for my day to day makeup routine. So this post is pretty much going to be a mixture of all of that now, and it’s gonna be a long one, so bare with me and I really hope you guys enjoy it!

* * * * * *

I guess I can start off with my overall opinion when it comes to makeup, that which is, less is more. I think the key to makeup is to make it look like you really don’t have all that much on. We live in a generation now where with social media and YouTube, guys and girls feel the need to pack on pounds upon pounds of makeup in order to make themselves feel beautiful. And then it’s ridiculously noticeable, like don’t get me wrong, it’s makeup so obviously it’s suppose to show, but there are people out here overdrawing their lips and eyebrows like crazy, to the point where they legitimately look like clowns.

And no, I’m not trying to shame or bring these people down at all, I’m simply being honest and the fact of the matter is that some people just do a little too much.

I really feel like for things like this, less is more. I mean I’m not an expert in makeup by any means, but I guess it’s also just personal preference. It’s completely fine to have those days when you want to be a little extra with a bold lip, paired with a bold eye look and winged liner, but definitely not for a day to day look. I don’t know about everyone else, but I know for me, most mornings I sure as hell don’t even have the time to do simple makeup (as much as I may want to), let alone a bold makeup look. Besides, with you always doing this, when exactly are you giving your face a break and time to breathe ¬†from all the oils and chemicals and such that you’re constantly putting on?

People who wear less makeup or more natural makeup I feel are more prone to having more confidence, letting their natural beauty flow through, and just covering up their minor imperfections like blemishes and dark circles. As opposed to putting on like 10 pounds of makeup, messing up your skin more than what it already may be and just giving yourself a completely new/different face altogether, like if you’re going to do all these things at least make them look as natural looking as possible.

Natural Beauty Is The Best Kind Of Beauty

I’m one that I LOVE makeup, whether drug store or high-end, I love it all. And I have an awful lot of it, some (and when I say some I predominantly mean my mother) may even say that I have too makeup. I’ve got a vanity, and the baby version of Alex drawers to hold everything I have, and even that doesn’t feel like enough to hold everything ūüėā. The point is that I have a lot of it, so I totally get the obsession of it all.

t even in spite of everything I have, I still tend to opt for a more natural and/or subtle look. Like I said earlier, I get the want to be extra sometimes, but I definitely don’t have the time or effort to do that more so than not. And even when I do, I’m not trying to be out here giving myself a completely different face with eyebrows up to my forehead, lips looking like their about to pop, and even like fake boobs from contouring them so much.

You see all those memes out here nowadays of guys making fun of girls for wearing so much makeup, talking about throwing water on girls to reveal their “true form” without it and a bunch of other things, and don’t get me wrong, a lot of them are funny as hell, but at the same time it’s like, c’mon guys, they’ve got a point. And by no way, shape, or form am I saying to care about or take to heart what they have to say and change yourselves or stop wearing makeup altogether, but they’re right to an extent. How can they or anyone really remember or know to begin with, how you look naturally ¬†when you’re constantly wearing all that makeup? As comfortable and as beautiful as you feel with all that makeup ON, is the same way, if not more, that you should feel in your own, natural skin.

Start Small and Cheap, Before Going Big And Expensive
mething else that I feel super strongly about when it comes to makeup, especially for beginners, is to start off small. Start off small, and with the cheap, drugstore makeup, before making your way to high-end stuff. Yes I get the want to fall into the hype of high-end makeup because of beautiful celebrities coming out with their own lines like Fenty beauty by Rihanna, Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner, and KKW Beauty by Kim Kardashian-West (to name a few), or because you just see a lot of these celebrities wearing these products and looking amazing in them, but it does absolutely nothing for you if you barely know how to use makeup yet you’re breaking your pockets just to be able to say that you have these products by these people.

Start with the “cheap” stuff from E.L.F., Wet & Wild, Colourpop etc. (again just to name a few). There’s absolutely nothing wrong with opting for drug-store products as opposed to high-end ones. All of the products from these brands are SUPER affordable, and they legitimately are amazing products. Just because they’re cheap in pricing, doesn’t mean the quality sucks, in fact, I think most make-up artists and YouTubers would agree that a lot of times products in the drug-store that cost $5-10, more often than not tend to be better quality than other high-end brands that have their products ranging between $50-80 for the exact same product. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that ALL of the products from these brands are amazing, of course every brand has its hits and misses, but I really believe that most times this is the case.

Not only are you being smart financially by opting for drug-store makeup, but you’re also able to make as many mistakes as needed with these “cheap” products and learn how to do certain things with makeup then working your way up to the high-end stuff. At least once you finally work your way up to these high-end products you’ll know how to actually use them and it’ll be worth your buck.

* * * * * * *

th all that being said, I’m going to talk about some of my favorite makeup brands and products now. I started wearing makeup when I was in my Freshmen or Sophomore year of high school, so I was about 14 or 15 years old. My mom was actually the one to get me into it, and she started me off with some drug store products that I ended up using for years after that. I remember the first two products she gave me and taught me how to use was the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Concealer and Treatment and the Neutrogena Skin Clearing Liquid Makeup Foundation.

Now at the time, since I was just starting out, I obviously knew nothing about makeup or YouTube to watch tutorials on these things or anything, so I was just basing everything off of what she was telling me and teaching me; and what she taught me was that less is more. She also taught me that I really didn’t need a lot of makeup to look pretty, which is why I think I still carry that “knowledge”, if you will, with me whenever I put on makeup.

As I mentioned before, following my mom introducing me to these products, I ended up using them for YEARS. I actually stopped using the concealer about 2-3 years ago, I don’t really remember why, but I did. As for the foundation, that was definitely a go-to, ride or die product for me up until about a year ago, and not because I stopped liking it, but because I finally decided to step out of my comfort zone and try other foundations. I loved it, it looked natural on my skin, and to me, it was pretty full coverage for the most part. I also don’t like change, so switching to any new foundation freaked me out lol. Foundation also always use to freak me out because I could NEVER get my color match right, I would always either get it too light or too dark and I HATE that. But things are a lot different now obviously.

There are so many different brands that I love now when it comes to concealers, foundations, and everything else in between, and I think that it’s actually a healthy variety of both drugstore and high-end. For drugstore, I definitely think that some of my favorite brands are E.L.F., Wet n Wild, Milani, Colourpop, and L’oreal. As for high-end brands, I think my absolute favorite brands would be Too Faced, Tarte, and Urban Decay. There are quite a few other brands that I like too, don’t get me wrong, but those would definitely be my top 3 I think (as of now).

Primers:< img class=”wp-image-2096 aligncenter” src=”; alt=”IMG_0087″ width=”420″ height=”315″><<
ese four primers are definitely the ones that I alternate between the most. I love them all, and they all do exactly what they claim to on their bottles. 2 of these primers are drug store and 2 of them are high-end. I kind of got the first 3 all around the same time, and I like them all pretty equally, but recently (a few weeks ago), I got the Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer. And I love this, this is so light weight, and keeps my makeup in tact all day. Also, it’s infused with coconut water, so that’s just a plus right there. This primer retails for $32. The Maybelline Baby Skin retails between $4-5 depending on where exactly you got to buy it at. The NYX Angel Veil primer actually retails for about $15-16, which is pretty pricey for a drugstore product. I like this primer, but if I had to put them in number order of my favorites, I think it would be last. Only because this one is kind of weird for a primer to some extent, it’s almost like it’s a cream or lotion, it’s like a white and somewhat thick consistency. Whenever I rub the primer in like normal, it always seems to leave white streaks around my face, I don’t know if it’s because I’m not rubbing it in with enough pressure or what, but that’s my one dislike about it. And finally, the Benefit POREfessional Face Primer has always been a favorite of mine. This was actually the very first primer that I ever used when I started getting serious about makeup. And actually, my boyfriend was the one who got it for me, because it came in a cute little gift set he got for me for Christmas about 2-3 years ago ūüėÖ. It never feels tacky on my skin or anything, it takes away my pores and leaves my skin feeling super smooth before applying the rest of my makeup. This primer retails for $31.

IMG_0097Foundations: At the moment, I have 2 foundations which are considered high-end that I absolutely LOVE.

The first is the Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation stick. This foundation is amazing. I was a little nervous at first because the stick itself can be kind of intimidating being that it looks and feels like you could go overboard on how much you put on REAL QUICK. But it’s true what many YouTubers say in their videos about this foundation in that, even if you were to go a little overboard, or think that you did, it would be fine because it really doesn’t cake up much at all (personally anyway), and this blends like a dream, so seamlessly it really is amazing. I actually bought this foundation in-store at Sephora, and made sure that I had one of the associates color match me so that if it wasn’t right I could blame that person instead of myself lol. It ended up working out because now it’s definitely one of my favorites. This foundation retails for $46 on the Sephora website.

The second foundation is actually somewhat of a recent purchase, I bought it a few weeks ago on the Too Faced website, and that is the Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation. I just want to start off by saying with this foundation, I kind of just went out on a limb and assumed what shade I would be. Now keep in mind, I said I sucked with color matching myself especially with foundations, but for some reason this time around, I was SUPER confident with my shade choice. And lucky for me, it was actually my perfect match! ūüėÜūüė≠.

But anyway back to the foundation itself,OH-MY-GOD IS THIS THING AMAZING. I don’t know what it is about this foundation that I love the most, but there’s something about this that as of now, makes it my all time favorite foundation. It’s so smooth and creamy, and blends beautifully. It leaves my face with such a beautiful finish. And for it being matte, personally, I don’t think it feels like it. I tend to have dry skin, but it doesn’t bother me in the slightest, nor do I see any difference. However, I will say that Winter is when my dry skin comes out the most, so now that it’s getting colder outside, I’ll have to see and really put it to the test.

Now I also know that with this foundation, some people complained that the scent of it really got to them. Which if you haven’t gotten any of the products from the Peaches and Cream collection, every single one of the products in the line smells exactly like that, peaches and cream, so if you don’t care for that smell, those products may not be for you because the scent really is strong. Which brings me back to the foundation, it’s mainly when you put it around your nose obviously, but some people say that it’s way too strong, which ends up making them dislike it altogether. Personally, I smelled it at first, but now that I use it all the time, I barely even notice it anymore. It’s really not something that bothers me much, I don’t typically care for that scent in general, but again it’s not that terrible to the point where I would dislike and not use this product anymore. This foundation retails for about $36 dollars on Sephora and the Too Faced website. And in case anyone was wondering, my particular shade is warm beige.

Concealer:IMG_0084 Concealer is definitely that one makeup product that I don’t think I would ever be able to leave out of my routine. And not because it’s like my favorite makeup product, but because I get such bad dark circles, that I don’t think I would ever be able to do and/or attempt to pull off a makeup look without it like some people are. Out of all the concealers in my collection, I think these (for the time being) are my favorites. The Too Faced Born This Way concealer is definitely one of my favorites, but I predominantly use it during the summer time. I don’t really know why, it’s just something that I think works really well during that time of year lol. This concealer retails for $28. The Naked Skin concealer by Urban Decay I like, but I kind of only bought because I had been dying to try it for SUCH a long time, that I finally did along with a color corrector, and just pairing the 2 with one another was an amazing combination. This concealer retails for $29. The Tarte Shape-Tape concealer is great. There’s nothing more to say than that, it’s completely full coverage which sold me in itself because it’s what I need the most, and it blends great. This concealer retails for $27. Like I mentioned earlier, I don’t use the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer nearly as much as I used to, but even though it’s an oldie, I still consider it a goodie. This concealer retails for about $8-9 kind of depending on which store you get it at. And finally, the Colourpop No Filter concealer, these are really amazing as well. I would say for me, these are like medium coverage, but nonetheless I love it still. It’s lightweight, it blends out effortlessly, overall just a really great product and for only $6 compared to all the other concealer products I mentioned really is not much at all. The only thing for me is that, I don’t if know if it’s just me that this happens to, but it seems to dry on me really quick. If I don’t blend it out within like 2 minutes, it’ll dry and become much harder to blend out. But other than that, when I blend it right away, it’s perfectly fine.

Powders:IMG_0093 I don’t typically use powders all that much unless it’s to pretty much just set and/or bake under my eyes. But when I do, it’s usually one of these. The Laura Mercier Translucent powder has been one that I’ve used for SO long, since I started really getting into makeup, it’s so good and does exactly what I need it to. This powder retails for $23 on the Sephora site. It’s been my ride or die for about a year or 2 now, and I only recently started to use something else. I recently bought the RCMA No-Color Powder because I had seen it being spoken about in countless amounts of videos, so I really just wanted to see what all the hype was about, and in turn ended up really liking it. So this, along with the Laura Mercier powder I only use for baking/setting my under eyes. ¬†The RCMA No Color Powder retails for about $12 on the beautylish website. As for the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder, I really like this powder for both setting my eyes and entire face, but predominantly for setting my face. This powder retails for $29 at Ulta. As far as I’ve seen and experienced, I’ve never had flashback in photos with any of these powers which is great obviously, because who wants to look like a ghost on camera right?

Bronzer: Now bronzer is a product that always used to intimidate me. Because my skin is so fair, I always felt like it would be so easy for me to be able to mess up and look like I had dirt on my face or something. This is why I really don’t ever do contouring. But I did manage to teach myself obviously how to use it and now these are my 2 favorite bronzers to use. The Butter Bronzer by Physicians Formula was the first bronzer I ever started to really use, and it really is just a great product. Never any issues blending, it’s the perfect shade, and it smells like a tropical dream ūüėćūü§§.¬†The scent, oh my god, it smells like a delicious little pina colada. This bronzer retails between $10-15 depending on where you go to buy it. But, honestly I really think it’s one of the best drugstore bronzers on the market.¬†HOWEVER,¬†my other favorite as of recently (another recent purchase) is the Sweetie Pie bronzer by Too Faced, another piece from the Peaches and Cream collection. Now, I know the look of it is kind of weird, it doesn’t actually look much like a bronzer; if anything it look like a little bronzer, blush, and highlight all in one. But trust me when I say that is an extremely pretty and pigmented bronzer. The Sweetie Pie bronzer retails for $30 at Sephora.

More often than not, when I’m going to grab a blush, it’ll probably be one of these. The Nars Orgasm Blush has ALWAYS been an absolute favorite. It’s a gorgeous pinky shade. It’s funny because I think this blush is probably the ONLY blush that’s this shade that I actually like on my skin. If I were to try any other blush that’s a similar shade to this one (which I have before), I feel like it would come out way too pink on my skin. But with this one, there’s something about it that I love so much. It never looks too pink or patchy on my skin, I never have an issue with blending, and it’s just an overall amazing product. I got it for the first time when it was limited edition packaging or something like that in Sephora a year or so ago. This retails for $30 on both the Sephora and Nars website. The other blush I’ve been really liking lately are the ones in this Beautifully Bare Natural Glow Face Palette from E.L.F. When I’m looking to buy blush at any store I like to look for a light rosy shade or a nice peachy one, which this palette carries both. I don’t really use the bronzer or highlight in the palette, but the blushes are really good. And it’s E.L.F. so it’s good quality and cheap, price wise. This face palette retails for $8.

Mascara:IMG_0101 Mascara is definitely one of my FAVORITE makeup products to always use. I have naturally long lashes, so I get so excited to put mascara on at the end of my makeup routine lol. But, as of right now these are my top 3 favorite mascaras to use. The first one, NYC New York Color Lovatics by Demi Lovato I actually haven’t used in some time, but when I used it I loved the way it made my lashes look. I also admittedly only got it

IMG_0210because it was a product from Demi Lovato’s little makeup collab she did with NYC Color lol and I love her so you know, yeah. That mascara retails for about $5-8 depending which store you go to buy it at. The second and third mascaras in the picture are definitely my absolute current favorites. The Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and The L’oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise. If you’re ever on my Instagram or Snapchat or have been recently when I’ve had my makeup on, and I take pictures of my eyes/lashes like the one below I’m typically wearing either one of those mascaras. They glide on so smoothly. They do clump up slightly but nothing to the point where it makes my eyes look disgusting or I hate the way it looks. I also, to some extent, believe that the L’oreal mascara could be a dupe for the Better Than Sex one, as far as the packaging and the product itself. The Better Than Sex mascara retails for $23, whereas the Voluminous Lash Paradise one goes for about $7-9.

Highlighters: After I apply my mascara, while I wait for it to dry a bit I’ll usually end up taking that opportunity to apply my highlight. Now highlighters are my third absolute favorite makeup product to use in my routine. When it comes to highlights, I’m usually not SUPER picky about which ones I use. But for the most part, I’ll go for a nice gold-ish one.

I’m also not picky about it being subtle or blinding, that really just depends on how I’m feeling that particular day, but I’ll pretty much do either or. I have a ton of favorite highlights as you can see in the picture. Being that there are SO many, I’m not going to go into each individual one and why I like them, but I will say that there’s definitely a variety of both drugstore and high-end in my favorites. I have a ton of others, but these are definitely the ones I’ve been rotating through the most from my collection.

Setting Sprays: There’s not much for me to say about this little category, because I don’t use or alternate between all that many setting sprays. I’m really not all that picky when it comes to that, as long as it does what it’s supposed to do, which is set my face and keep my makeup on all day, that’s all that really matters. I have one in particular which I’ve been using since I first started getting serious about makeup 2-3 years ago, which is the Makeup Forever Mist & Fix Setting Spray. I’ve never had any issues or complaints about this one which is why I continue to repurchase it whenever I run out. This retails for $30 at Sephora. The other setting spray I’ve really been using a lot and liking is the MAC Prep & Prime Fix + Makeup Setting Spray. I bought it a couple of months ago because I had been wanting to try it for quite some time but never got around to it, but only bought the travel-sized version because I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it or if it was going to live up to all the hype. Sure enough though, I ended up loving it and now that along with the Makeup Forever one are the only ones I really use. The travel-sized version retails for about $12 at MAC, whereas the full-sized one goes for about $25.

Eyeshadow Palettes:

I have a TON of eyeshadow palettes in my collection, let me tell you. But if I absolutely had to choose which my favorites were out of them all, I think I could narrow them down to these 5. Now, like I mentioned in the beginning of my post, I like to go for very natural and subtle makeup looks, so that’s why I like these so much. Not only can you get SO many different makeup looks with all these palettes, but the color range is right up my alley as far as the kinds of looks that I like to go for. Yes, some of the colors may look very similar in that a lot of them are like pinky, cool toned shades, but that’s just really what I like to go for.

I really do want to start stepping out of my comfort zone just a bit though and trying more bold eye looks on myself, but I guess that’ll come with time.

Last but not least…….LIPSTICKS: Lipsticks are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE makeup product to use in my routine. I can’t even tell you how many lipsticks I have throughout my collection. Aside from concealer, if I had mascara and lipstick, I think I would always be set. Now this was definitely difficult to narrow down to which lipsticks in particular that I love the most, so I was thinking about just naming my favorite brands of lipsticks instead and the type of shades that are my favorites?

IMG_8867IMG_8870 I think MAC lipsticks and the Kylie Cosmetics lipsticks are some of my all time favorites. Starting with Kylie Cosmetic, I know people have their opinions when it comes to her, her brand, and the quality of her products, but when it comes to her lipsticks, I love them. I think they’re really good quality, and they last on my lips for a long time. Just in general, I don’t normally tend to put a second coat of lipstick on my lips if I see their fading a bit; once I take it off, I take if off and that’s it, so I never usually have any issues with that. Her color range, I really like, even though many people tend to say that she sticks to the same colors, but I typically like to go for many of the nudes and other shades that she has in her collection so it really doesn’t bother me as you can tell from the image above lol. I’m not crazy about lipgloss, so I usually steer clear of those, but there’s been two from her collection which are Cupid and Poppin’ that I actually like. And I love her velvets because they’re so comfortable on the lips and they don’t dry down completely like a matte. So overall, I love Kylie Cosmetic lipsticks and never really had any issues with them. Her mattes go for about $29 each, her glosses $18, and her velvets $16. I will say that her prices are a little much, but I mean I like her lip products so it is what it is I guess.

MAC lipsticks are another brand of lipsticks that I love. These are so creamy and go on so smoothly on the lips. Their shade range is amazing, and the overall quality of their lip products are just as amazing. I’ve never used or tried their liquid lipsticks before, but it’s definitely on my list of things to try. Personally, before putting on any lipstick, I make sure to apply just a tiny bit of chap-stick just so that my lips can stay moisturized even under any lipstick, but for MAC lipsticks, I find that this really isn’t at all needed. MAC lipsticks typically retail for about $17.50.

Another brand of lipsticks that are my favorite are from Colourpop. This brand I consider to be drugstore even though they don’t actually have any stores nearby (as far as I know). Although Colourpop is now in Sephora stores, so YAY, be sure to go check that out if you haven’t already!! ūü§ó . But yeah, Colourpop has a variety of colors and lip products in general. I think this is great because no matter what, there’s a little something there for EVERYONE, which is the type of variety that any makeup brand needs.

Now for the Winter, personally, I love to be able to wear darker lip colors with my makeup looks. I just feel like they go so well with almost any makeup look this time of year; deep/dark reds, deep purple shades, ugh they’re beautiful.

My Everyday Makeup Look/Routine I figure I end this post by telling and showing you guys which products I generally use for my everyday makeup routine.

IMG_0134 1. First, I moisturize. (If you haven’t seen which moisturizer I use you should go check out my Skincare post).

2. Then I prime my face using the Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer

3. Then if I feel like doing my brows I’ll use the¬†Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz

in the shade Ebony (And I do realize that I didn’t mention anything about Brows at all in the post, but that’s because I really don’t use that many brow products other then this one, and I generally don’t tend use brow products much at all. But the few times I do, it would be this one).

4. Then I would take my E.L.F. Flawless Face Brush to put on and blend out my Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation

in the shade Warm Beige.

5. Then I would take my damp Beauty Blender and put on my Colourpop No Filter Concealer

in the shade Golden, #40.

6. After that I would take my RCMA No Color Powder

to set my under eyes along with anywhere that I put concealer on my face (which for me would generally be a bit on my forehead, my cupid’s bow, and my chin).

7. Then I would take my Mr. Right- The Perfect Powder Brush to apply my Too Faced Sweetie Pie Bronzer

8. Then I would take my Real Techniques Blush Brush

to apply and blend out my Nars Orgasm Blush

9. Then I’ll take my lash curler to curl my lashes just a bit before applying my mascara. Once that’s done I’ll take my¬†L’oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara.

10. While I’m waiting for my lashes to dry a bit, I’ll go on to applying my highlight. To apply my highlight I’ll take my¬†Sigma F-03 High Cheekbone Highlighting Brush¬†

for my Mary-Lous Manizer Highlight

11. By this point my lashes are dried and the rest of my makeup is on and good to go, so I’ll take my¬†MAC Prep & Prime + Fix Setting Spray

to really hold it all together and complete my routine.

12. My lipstick as I mentioned earlier, would really just depend on how I’m feeling that day or in the moment.

But yeah, that’s my day to day makeup routine. I know it probably would’ve been a lot better and less time consuming if it were a video instead of spelling it all out for you guys, but I have to make do with what I have for right now. But I am planning to hopefully start making videos soon (though they will not predominantly be about makeup).

Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for you guys today, sorry that this post was super long, but I really wanted to be able to go in depth with you guys about how I felt about makeup, my favorites and my day to day makeup routine. I hope you guys liked this post, please don’t hesitate to like, comment, and/or follow my blog to give me any type of feedback, criticism or suggestions for my current or future posts.

Also, let me know down below what your guys thoughts are on makeup, your favorite products & brands, and what you use for your day to day routines, I’d love to check out any new products that you may have that I have yet to try.

Until next time!
